Tension Bar. Galvanized steel tension bars are used vertically to secure chain link fence ends to terminal posts, end posts, corner posts, and gate posts. Tension bars simply slide vertically into a channel naturally created when the chain link wire is woven. Use 5/8" wide bars for residential applications and 3/4" wide bars for commercial applications.
