Premium carbon steel electrode formulated to weld carbon steels with a yield strength range of 55,000 to 70,000 psi. ER70S-6 is well suited for steels that contain medium to high levels of mill scale and mild amounts of contaminants. The copper cladding of the wire promotes excellent feed characteristics. ER70S-6 is a good selection for welds that require better clamping and wetting.
